“Brown sticks”
“Brune pinner” is for a lot of Norwegians one of the 7 sorts of traditional cookies to make during Christmas. Though I like to make them all year round. Syrup and cinnamon cause the “brune pinner” to taste as lovely as they do.
Here’s the recipe that I enjoy using when making “brune pinner” translated to English (with European measurement units):
This recipe makes about 50 “brune pinner”:)
200 g room tempered butter
200 g sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon syrup (preferable light)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (powdered)
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
300 g flour
You’ll also need another egg to lacquer your dough with. I fancy “brune pinner” even more when I sprinkle pearl sugar and chopped almonds on my dough before it goes into the oven.
PS: If your a dough eater this a great recipe for you. Just skip the steps that involve the oven (or getting it ready for the oven). The dough of “brune pinner” does not have to rise, which is incredible news for both dough eaters and the ones who actually bake the cookies.

I miss my friends from sweeden that I met in gran canaria. I am getting sad when I see pictures of them.
My best friend
This is Mathea and she is my best friend. She is so nice and has a heart of gold. We have been best friends since 3rd grade. I like to be with her because she always getting me in a better mood. She is always supportive and spreads happiness. When we are together we laugh all the time. I love that we can talk about everything and nothing. It is never awkward around us and that is also something I love. I am so thankful to be her friend and I do not know what I would do without her. I hope we stay friends forever.

I get sad to be home and not being able to socialize. I love to be with my friends, and now I feel very isolated.

My cat resembles pure sadness at the moment. He got into a fight as usual and got a deep cut in his head. Because of this, he has to wear a collar. My cat is an outdoor cat, so he’s out and about most of the time. But now, he’s not allowed to be out in the wild. Freddie (my cat) takes these news with a wine. He truly hates not being able to be in the outdoors, and he looks quite depressed due to it.

Something that makes me very sad is plastic in the nature. I think that it’s very stupid that humans throw plastic into the nature.

This picture makes me so sad bacause I miss summer so much. Last summer me and my family went to Bulgaria, and it was so lively. It’s sad because I don’t know if we can travel anywhere this summer, because of the coronavirus. I love to travel and spending time with my family.
